Whose name is on the booking, the parent's or the child's?
The booking uses the parent's name and phone number, so every confirmation and reminder reaches the parent who will bring the child.
The parent writes the child's name in the note when booking, and your front desk sees it on the booking. For siblings, the parent writes both names in one note or makes two bookings.
How do vaccination visits work?
Add Vaccination visit as its own short service, so a quick visit does not take a full consultation slot. The front desk books the next visit before the family leaves, and the parent gets a reminder 24 hours and 4 hours before it.
Your clinic software or the child's card keeps the vaccine schedule. BookingDeskPro keeps the date and time.
Can parents book a visit on the same day for a sick child?
Yes, if you allow it. Set the minimum notice low, such as one hour, and parents can take a free slot that morning. Raise it if you prefer same-day cases to go through the desk.

During set-up, which type of business do I pick?
Pick Clinic or hospital. Each pediatrician becomes a calendar with their own hours and leave.
Does it keep vaccination records or growth charts?
No. It holds the appointment, the parent's contact details, and the note. Keep records and charts in your clinic software.
Can I limit how early a family can book?
Yes. Set how far ahead parents can book, such as the next two weeks, so your calendar is not filled months in advance. The setting is in booking settings.
Will a parent with two children need two logins?
No. Parents do not create an account. They book with a name and a phone number or email. To see their bookings later, they sign in with a code sent to their email.
